A piece built around him sitting alone at the top of a sword that splits the entire canvas in two, a single dark line running straight down through a gradient that bleeds from charcoal grey into deep crimson below. He's still, which is what makes it hit. Everything he's carrying, every decision he made for a village that never knew the cost, and he's just sitting there with it.

Built using a modeling paste mix I've developed myself as the base, then layered with acrylic paint on top, giving the piece real texture and depth you won't get from a print. Signed by the artist.
